Most of the time my job is OK but it does get tedious. The problem here is many of them have never worked at a really hard job so thy get hung up on petty details and have much too much time to worry about things like scented products in the work place and Strategic plans and safety committees, Mission statements etc. Not that these things don't matter but it gets silly sometimes.
They never have any money for the staff. Instead they just installed three big-screen TVs for the public with a bunch of propaganda on them tooting their own horn, that no one ever looks at. Plus, expensive new furniture and the list goes on. They also spent about 6 million on a new addition to our building. Now the staff are hearing the same old story "we have no money, we won't be replacing vacant positions etc. so the staff will have to take up the slack. blah , blah , blah," The message is staff don't matter - image does.
